I first was asked to do some concept ideas for a children's book about a plum tree.
Unfortunately the author didn't think my ideas were what they were looking for.
And I was asked to do a sketch of an older black woman to be the grandmother in another story.

Actually your sketches inspired the final concept, she just got blown away by a color submission... you know how that goes... The publisher loves your work...
